has certainly benefited from the current evaluation period, and he has totally hot the recruiting radar.
Winovich, 6-foot-4, 221-pounds, is a three-star prospect that could play in either a 3-4 or 4-3 set, using his speed, size and versatility. He is reporting several new offers in the past few weeks.
Arizona, Arkansas, Harvard, Michigan State, Missouri, Oregon, Purdue, Tennessee, Stanford and UCLA have all issued offers recently.
Winovich now holds 25 offers in total, with Alabama, Florida and LSU also showing recent interest.
Sunday night, Winovich listed Michigan, Ohio State and Pittsburgh as his three favorites, but indicated he was keeping his options open regarding new schools.
"My top-three is still about the same and hasn't changed, but it's not wrong to say I'm still evaluating everybody," he stressed. "I do not have it all figured out yet, and I can't say I wouldn't be swayed by anyone else."
Although he plans a decision in early summer, Winovich told Scout.com he is up in the air over a specific time.
"I want to leave no stone unturned, and if the decision is right in late May or late June, then I will make it," he added.
