2001 (Sophomore) - HONORABLE MENTION ALL-BIG 12 SELECTION by coaches... Chevrolet/ABC Player of Game for ‘Cats vs. Oklahoma (9/29)... Played 10 games at quarterback, including nine starts... Ranked ninth in the Big 12 and led the team in total offense with a 149.8-ypg average... Totaled 1,498 yards on the season with 855 coming through the air and 643 via the ground... Second on the team in scoring with 56 points... Third in all-purpose yards with a 64.3 yards per game average... The team’s second-leading rusher with 643 yards on 142 carries, including a 4.5-per-carry average... His 643 yards rushing was just 105 yards short of Michael Bishop’s single-season record for a quarterback... Ranked third on the K-State all-time rushing list by a sophomore... Ranked seventh among quarterbacks nationally in individual rushing with a 64.3 yards per game average... Accounted for nine rushing touchdowns, second only to Josh Scobey’s 15... Had four 100-yard rushing games season, including a career-high 131-yard performance against Iowa State (11/3)... His four 100-yard games are the most in a season by a Wildcat QB and match Michael Bishop for the most career 100-yard games by a K-State QB... Became just the second quarterback in school history to tally back-to-back 100-yard rushing performances against Iowa State and Nebraska... Owns four of the top seven rushing games ever by a Wildcat quarterback... Had the third-most yards on the ground against Iowa State (131), tied for the fifth-most against USC (119) and Nebraska and the seventh-most against Oklahoma (115)... Teamed with Josh Scobey to hit the century mark in games against USC and Iowa State... It marked just the fifth and sixth time in school history that K-State had a pair of 100-yard rushers in a game... Led the team in rushing in three games this season (115 at Oklahoma, 77 vs Texas A&M and 119 at Nebraska)... Completed 54 of 136 passes for a team-best 855 yards with four touchdowns and eight interceptions... Had a career-high 257-yard passing performance at Oklahoma... Had a season-best 72-yard strike to Derrick Evans in the second quarter of the win against New Mexico State (9/22)... K-State coaches’ Offensive Player of the Game against Oklahoma (9/29)... Adding his 115 rushing yards to 257 yards passing against the Sooners, the 372 yards in individual total offense that day ranks 10th on the single-game list at K-State... Set career-highs in attempts (32), completions (12) and passing yards (257) at Oklahoma... Accounted for four touchdowns that day, three rushing and one passing.

2000 (Freshman) - Saw action in six games for Wildcats as backup QB... Completed 10 of 23 passes in his first season, throwing for a pair of touchdowns... Had an 8-yard scoring pass to Quincy Morgan vs. Ball State (9/16)... Also had a 23-yard tdthrow to Brandon Clark in fourth quarter vs. Iowa State (11/4)... Had 46 yards on 3-for-6 passing vs. Ball State... Finished with 168 rushing yards on 33 carries... Top rushing game was a 65-yard performance on 14 carries vs. North Texas (9/23)... Also scampered for 45 yards on only four rushes at Kansas (10/7).
