Mark
Dantonio, Defensive Coordinator (Third season at Ohio
State)
- Another coach with experience coaching under
Coach Tressel, Coach Dantonio was on Tressel's staff at YSU from
1986-1990
- Has also had a prior stint at OSU as he was a
graduate assistant in 1983 and 1984
- Has also coached at Purdue, Kansas, Akron,
Butler JC (Kan), and Ohio. Was defensive backs coach at
Michigan State before joining OSU.
- Born March 9, 1956... Zanesville, OH native
- Was All-State performer at Zanesville before
going on to be a DB at the University of South Carolina
- Married with two daughters
