| Simon (above, Evan Mercer pic) enters 2002 as the #3 DE on the team behind Will Smith and Darrion Scott. A tall and relentless player, Simon was rated the #1 player in Ohio coming out of high school by Ohio's Future Stars, and as a true freshman last year, he showed sparks of that ability as he got to see the field quite a bit and made good strides. He is expected to continue to develop this year and will provide OSU with some quality depth at DE. |
