| Another great talent in the OSU backfield, Lydell will be trying to build upon his fine showing in 2001 as a true freshman. Lydell (above, Evan Mercer pic) came to Ohio State as a recruiting coup out of Tampa, and he proved to be one of the top young RB prospects last year as he ran for 447 yards on 128 carries and 6 TDs as a true freshman. He is a big back but also contains some good moves and a burst of speed. He has great ability and should contribute significantly this season. |
