| 2006 Stats: Simmons finished his junior year with 80 total tackles, including eight for loss and three sacks; Also plays quarterback. He benches 245 pounds, squats 350 and has a 32-inch vertical jump.
Simmons reports a 2.4 core GPA and a 15 ACT, which he plans to retake in September.
Simmoms: "I'm strong and very athletic. I have great instincts and am a natural athlete. I'm like Sean Taylor Washington Redskins free safety). He was my size in high school and I think I play a lot like him.
"I want to improve my man-on-man coverage and improve my strength. I'd like to get faster too."
