Mike Cappetto will be a three-year varsity starter in 2006. As a sophomore, Cappetto led Brother Rice to a 10-1 record and this past season he led his team to a 12-2 record and a state championship.
Coach's Comments - "Three-year starter. Excellent touchdown to interception ratio. Threw 25 touchdowns the past two seasons. Mike is getting looks from the smaller Big Ten schools but if goes to a few camps and combines and has a big senior season, we believe he has the potential to play at a major D-1 program. A drop-back passer with a good a strong arm. Very accurate and nice release." -- Assistant coach David Sofran. |
