Biography:
Big 10 Coach of the Year 2003

One of the top coaches in College Basketball today -- came to Northwestern from Princeton where he had led the Tigers to several NCAA appearances.

Known for his motion offense, sometimes called the "Princeton Offense" and for tenacious defenses. His NU Cats have used matchup zones, man-to-man, and a 1-3-1 that stymied several Big 10 teams in 2003.

Recruited a McDonald's All-American [transfer from Duke] and several top freshmen for 2004-05. NU is expected to make a statement in Big 10 play this year.
