| FRESHMAN/2003: Became the #3 TE as a freshman and saw some action in a few games but did not catch a pass. Is expected to be an integral part of the offense in 2004.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Was a five-star blue-chip TE prospect and was Ohio's best TE prospect in years. He caught 36 passes for 823 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior, winning All-Ohio honors and was named Ohio's Future Stars' Offensive Player of the Year. After going back and forth with his decision, he selected Ohio State over Miami. He has WR speed in a TE's body and has drawn comparisons to Tony Gonzalez. |
