| Biography: |
Spitler joined the Ohio State recruiting class in late November, choosing the Buckeyes over Wisconsin. During his senior season, Spitler had 132 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, seven quarterback sacks and two interceptions. Spitler was moved up to the varsity as a freshman and was used on special teams. As a junior and sophomore, Austin played fullback and linebacker for Bellbrook. As a junior, he had 120 tackles and was named all-district. Is a very strong player, with a bench press of over 360 and a 500-pound squat.
