| JUNIOR/2003: Had an up-and-down year as he started early but struggled later on. Injuries may have been a factor. Rushed for 316 yards on 97 carries and a TD, had 4 catches for 12 yards and 10 kickoff returns for 198 yards.
SOPHOMORE/2002: Became a valuable member of the running back rotation, rushing for 370 yards on 78 carries (4.7 avg) and 4 TDs and also had 5 receptions for 43 yards. Perhaps his top moment of the year was scoring the TD against Michigan to put the Buckeyes ahead for good as they went on to win the game 14-9 and go to the National Championship game. Also led the team in kick returns again, with 19 attempts for 434 yards.
FRESHMAN/2001: Saw plenty of early playing time as he led the team in kick return yardage with 523 yards on 24 attempts (21.8 avg). Also got to carry the ball nine times for 72 yards.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Four-star prospect who was rated as one of the top running backs in the Midwest coming out of high school. Selected Ohio State over Florida State on signing day. Rushed for over 3,000 yards as a senior at Columbus Brookhaven. Is known for blazing speed and is one of the fastest players on the OSU roster. Is also a fine student; majoring in Communication. |
