Jim
Bollman, Offensive Coordinator/OL coach (Fifth season at Ohio State)
- Jim Bollman came to Ohio State from the Chicago
Bears to coach under Jim Tressel
- He told us on the Bucknuts Radio Hour that the
only coach he would ever leave the NFL for was Coach Tressel.
Coach Bollman coached under Tressel from 1986-1990.
- He has also spent time with the Philadelphia
Eagles as well as at the University of Virginia, Michigan State
University, Miami (OH), and NC State.
- Born Dec. 1, 1954, native of Ashtabula, OH
- Married with two daughters
- Four-year letter winner at OL at Ohio
University; coaching career started as a graduate assistant at Miami
(OH). Just a few years later in 1982, Coach Bollman joined the
staff at NC State, where he was an assistant head coach and OL coach
and ILB coach.
