Mel Tucker, Defensive Backs/Asst. Defensive Coordinator (Fourth season at Ohio State)
  • Fast-rising coach... Born Jan. 4, 1972... Cleveland native who starred at Cleveland Heights before playing college ball at Wisconsin. Graduated in 1995 and saw brief time in the CFL
  • Began coaching as a grad assistant at Michigan State in 1997, then moved on to Miami (OH) to coach DBs... later re-joined Nick Saban at LSU for one season as DBs coach in 2000
  • Married with one son
