Schlichter's Prep Career Ends With Springboro

Miles Schlichter		By Gary Housteau Date: Nov 17, 2005 For at least the first half, it looked like Miles Schlichter and the Miami Trace Panthers had what it took to upset the the number one team in Division II, Region 8. Schlichter threw for almost 200 yards and two touchdowns but it wasn't enough to defeat Springboro who came out strong in the second half after trailing 13-10 at the intermission to earn a 38-19 victory. A four-year starter, Schlichter now hopes his prolific career at Trace will help earn him a Division I scholarship somewhere.
