Ready for WKU

It's that time, just over a day away from the start of the 2010 season. Husker Head Coach Bo Pelini addressed the media one last time this week before kickoff Saturday evening. Check out the notes and the audio from today.

• Going into the game, Head Coach Bo Pelini said that sophomore offensive lineman Brandon Thompson would not play as he is still nursing an ankle sprain. Also not participating in the game will be true freshman Chase Rome, who is out with an elbow injury, which Pelini said would be "fine" soon. Pelini issued a statement later after Thursday's practice that sophomore linebacker Will Compton would be out indefinitely with a foot injury.
• Nebraska is now a 38 1/2 point favorite over visiting Western Kentucky. The line opened up just over a week ago at 35 points.
• Pelini was once again asked about the quarterback situation and as to whether or not now was the time to announce who that would be. Pelini said that everyone will know on Saturday
• While these positions haven't been confirmed, of course, this is how we think the starting line up breaks down for the up-coming game:
