Bama Lands Ohio Five-Star

For the second year in a row an Ohio five-star linebacker has decided to leave the state, as Trey DePriest has committed to Alabama. DePriest made the announcement Friday afternoon in Springfield in front of family and friends. Last year, Jordan Hicks spurned the Buckeyes for Texas. The Crimson Tide has stolen one from the Scarlet and Gray.

At a Friday press conference, five-star linebacker prospect Trey DePriest announced his decision to attend Alabama.

The linebacker from Springfield, Ohio, had narrowed his choices to Ohio State and Alabama before picking the Crimson Tide.
