The No. 2 seed Buckeyes begin the NCAA women's basketball tournament Sunday in Pittsburgh against St. Francis (Pa.), but few people have been able to ignore a potential matchup with No. 1 Connecticut down the line. BSB staffer Marcus Hartman has thoughts on what is and what could be.

Ohio State players did not make much of a reaction earlier this week when they found out where they will be going to start the NCAA women's basketball tournament, but they were not afraid to say they would welcome an eventual matchup with seemingly invincible Connecticut in Dayton next weekend.

First the No. 2 seed Buckeyes must navigate a slate that includes an opening-round matchup with St. Francis (Pa.) then either Mississippi State or Middle Tennessee State in round two on Tuesday. After that, there would be a Sweet 16 opponent in the Gem City.

How likely are they to navigate three rounds to earn a matchup with UConn? What might happen if they do? Find thoughts in the newest post in the Cus Words Blog.
