Baldwin Is A Buckeye

The Ohio State coaching staff managed to keep another highly regarded prep football player within the state this afternoon when three-star defensive end prospect Darryl Baldwin issued a verbal commitment.

After weighing all his options, three-star prospect Darryl Baldwin has issued a verbal commitment to Ohio State.

"Darryl called Jim Tressel today and verbally committed to Ohio State," Solon head coach Jim McQuaide told BuckeyeSports.com.

The 6-6, 247-pound defensive lineman is ranked as the No. 46 defensive end in the country. He had narrowed his list to OSU, Michigan State, Michigan, Penn State and Notre Dame.
