Friday, June 5
According to a blog entry by Bob Baptist of the Columbus Dispatch, Ohio State 2010 basketball target Aaron Craft will visit the school today. The Toledo Blade has a story on Craft, who recently decommitted from Tennessee.

The Dispatch a pair of short notes on OSU baseball players Jake Hale and Alex Wimmers.

The Detroit Free Press has a note on Jim Tressel's trip to Iraq.

Finally, Ken Gordon of the Dispatch has a short blog note on seeing former football Buckeye Anthony Gonzalez Thursday at the Memorial Tournament.


Thursday, June 4
The Akron Beacon Journal has a feature story on Jim Tressel's trip to Iraq to visit U.S. troops.

Game time for this season's Ohio State-Minnesota football game has been set for Noon. The Columbus Dispatch and Cleveland Plain Dealer have short notes on the announcement.

The Plain Dealer has a video interview with OSU beat writer Doug Lesmerises on the Buckeyes and Terrelle Pryor.

Cincinnati Bengals beat writer Chick Ludwig of the Dayton Daily News has a note on quarterback Carson Palmer and how he will not be in Columbus for the USC-Ohio State game.

Monday, June 1
The Ohio State baseball team was unceremoniously bounced from the NCAA tournament in a 37-6 rout by Florida State Sunday afternoon. The Buckeyes did avenge a blowout loss to Georgia earlier in the day, but the OSU pitching gave out against the Seminoles. The Columbus Dispatch has a recap of the long day, and The Associated Press (via the Cleveland Plain Dealer) and the Orlando Sun-Sentinel have recaps of the OSU-FSU game.


Sunday, May 31
The Columbus Dispatch has a feature story on secrecy surrounding college athletic departments. Going with that story is one on oversight vs. privacy at Ohio State. The Dispatch also has a database on Football Bowl Subdivision schools and graduation rates, academic performance scores, athletic spending, NCAA violations and privacy, as well as a list of violations by Ohio State's various teams.

The Ohio State baseball team will get a rematch with Georgia today following its win in an elimination game Saturday vs. Marist. The Dispatch has a game recap. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has a story on Georgia's loss to Florida State on Saturday.
