The late spring and summer months offer a good chance to stop and catch one’s breath on the Ohio State football beat. That also means a chance to revisit some of those debates and concepts from the regular season and spring football. Let’s start today with some thoughts on overall strategy.

In the newest post in the Cus Words Blog, we begin a series of looks back at the various issues the Ohio State football team will need to address to be national contenders (and stay atop the Big Ten) in 2009 with a look at one of the most-debated topics for Buckeye fans: diversity (or in the minds of some, lack thereof) of the coaching staff's strategies.

We'll pass the summer months with a simple formula: One at a time we will take a snippet of wisdom from a coach or player, or perhaps an item regularly contested hotly on our premium message board, and expand on what we learned about it this spring and what else could follow when the pads go back on for real in August.
