Buckeyes Make Big Changes With Little Time

With just one day to prepare for Penn State, it was to be expected that Ohio State would do little other than try to save its legs during its one day of practice. Instead, the Buckeyes made two big changes to their game plan for the Nittany Lions that helped spark them to victory.

It is debatable which change was more surprising: Ohio State switching out of its 3-2 match-up zone defense against Penn State, or P.J. Hill earning his first career start. Both moves started a spark that helped the Buckeyes earn an important victory with the Big Ten Tournament looming on the horizon, and both flew into the face of what had gotten them to this point.
