The search will soon be over.
After missing out on two quarterback prospects in the past week, Ohio State has proven that the third time is a charm. BuckeyeSports.com has confirmed via text message that three-star quarterback prospect Kenneth Guiton from Houston Eisenhower will commit to the Buckeyes when he takes an official visit.
"I will commit on my visit this weekend," he said via text message.
A 6-2 1/2, 172-pound athlete, Guiton is ranked as the No. 53 quarterback in the country by Scout.com.
As a senior, Guiton completed 117 of 232 passes for 1,670 yards and 17 touchdowns against nine interceptions. He is ranked lower than Tajh Boyd, who selected Clemson over OSU, but higher than Austin Boucher, who picked Miami (Ohio) instead of the Buckeyes.
He held offers from Northwestern, Kansas, Houston and Iowa State, among others.
Check back with BuckeyeSports.com later for more details on Guiton's decision.
