With the 2008 football season over, Ohio State has said goodbye to a number of senior standouts who have been part of one of the nation's top programs over the past few seasons. With that in mind, we're running a weeklong series of Senior Retrospectives on the principal members of that group. Linebacker Marcus Freeman is today's subject.

Stardom was predicted for Marcus Freeman when the linebacker – who stood 6-2, 238 pounds before his senior year of high school at Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne in southwest Ohio – began looking at schools.
