The question came up during the postgame interview session Saturday: Did Jim Tressel ever consider switching quarterbacks against Purdue? The answer was something along the lines of, "Not really," and I'll tell you why a switch would have been a mistake.

Among the truest axioms in sports is the one about the backup quarterback being the most popular man in any sports town, and that was proven again this weekend when Ohio State freshman quarterback Terrelle Pryor struggled to move the Buckeye offense on a consistent basis against Purdue.
