Coach Ginn Recap

Cleveland Glenville Head Coach Ted Ginn was on the Bucknuts Radio Hour today... here's a recap of some of the main points.

• Coach Ginn has known Coach Tressel for 11 years.  He called Tressel a great coach as well as a great man.
• Regarding current Buckeye and ex-Tarblooder QB Troy Smith: "He has the strongest arm I've seen in my life!"  Coach Ginn also says Troy is a very intelligent player and the best is yet to come.
• Regarding DB recruit Donte Whitner: Donte knows where he's headed in life.  He has to win all the time, whether it's in the classroom or on the field.
• Regarding DB/WR recruit Dareus Hiley: Coach Ginn called Hiley the best athlete he's ever seen... someone who can do anything on the field.  He said Dareus "has a PhD on the football field."
• Regarding E. Cleveland Shaw LB Reggie Smith, who Coach Ginn also knows very well: "Reggie has a motor that never stops... he never quits on defense, and that's the type of player you need on defense."
• Regarding the Buckeyes' chances with Whitner, Hiley, and Smith, Coach Ginn said he thinks there's a great chance they'll all be Buckeyes.  He said it's hard for players to cross state lines these days.
