Kirk Barton and Larry Grant heard their names called during the second and final day of the NFL Draft. The Columbus Dispatch has a story on Barton, who was selected by the Chicago Bears in the seventh round. The Cleveland Plain Dealer has a story on Barton and Grant, the latter of whom was also selected in the seventh round by the San Francisco 49ers.

The Plain Dealer also has a story on where Big Ten players were taken in the draft.

The Canton Repository has a story on area players who were selected Sunday, including Barton.

Former men's hockey Buckeye R.J. Umberger was a big part of the Philadelphia Flyers' victory over Montreal Saturday night, and the Philadelphia Enquirer has a feature story on the winger.

The Zanesville Times Recorder has a story on how Maysville graduate Kyle "Bo" Coconis fared for Ohio State in the Big Ten Championships this weekend.
