Wood Picks OSU at Junior Day

Jamie Wood

Ohio State has been one of the hottest teams in the country when it comes to nailing down early verbal commitments and the recruits are starting to realize if they want to come on board they better do it quickly before someone else potentially takes their spot. Jamie Wood is the latest star to join the ranks of the 2009 Buckeye recruiting class.

Jamie Wood, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound athlete from Central High in Pickerington, Ohio had said that he would wait a while before making a decision, but today he decided to go ahead and commit to Ohio State.

"I just committed to the Buckeyes," Wood informed Scout.com

Wood caught 25 passes for 548 yards and eight touchdowns on offense and posted 65 tackles, 12 passes broken up and one interception on defense as a junior.
