Here is a look at several other prospects from around the country that Ohio State is tracking. All are seniors unless otherwise noted.
• CB/WR Brandon Harris, Miami Booker T. Washington – The Tornadoes capped their first ever perfect season with a Florida High School Athletic Association Class 4A title. Booker T. defeated Ponte Vedra Beach Nease, 23-15, at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando.
"I may never be able to explain how good this moment feels right now," Harris told the Miami Herald. "I think it will be more real after I hold the trophy for a while."
The Tornadoes (15-0) led 23-7 at halftime and held on for the win. Sophomore rusher Eduardo Clements ran for 100 yards on 20 carries and scored three touchdowns – two rushing and one receiving.
Harris once again played quarterback as well as his usual cornerback position in the win. He replaced Terrence Moise after Mosie had to leave the game with an injury with 10:15 remaining. Harris moved to quarterback as the Tornadoes were starting a drive at their own 3. The senior helped Booker T. convert a pair of first downs and had a 26-yard scramble during the drive, which took enough time off the clock to prevent a Nease comeback.
Moise finished with 275 yards and completed 17 of 26 passes. Harris was named state Gatorade Player of the Year.
The Tornadoes' defense sacked Nease quarterback Ted Stachitas eight times and recorded 16 tackles for loss.
• QB Terrelle Pryor, Jeannette, Pa. – The Jayhawks finished their first unbeaten campaign with a 49-21 win over Dunmore for the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class AA title.
It took Jeannette (16-0) only 12 seconds to score when running back Jordan Hall lined up at quarterback with Pryor split out at end. Hall took the snap and ran 58 yards untouched for the game's first points.
Pryor accounted for five of the Jayhawks' seven touchdowns. He ran for three, threw one and caught another. Hall ran for one, caught one, threw another and returned a punt for a score. Jeannette led 42-7 with 2:08 left in the third quarter.
Pryor finished with 209 yards rushing and 83 yards passing. He scored on runs of 2, 49 and 41 yards and caught a 28 yard touchdown pass from Hall. He even handled kickoff duties and punted once.
"Our fans expected us to win it and we did," Pryor told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "I really can't believe it. This is so great."
Pryor ended his senior season with 4,250 yards rushing and 4,249 passing.
