When Illinois gashed the Ohio State defense for 260 yards on the ground during an upset win Nov. 10, many wondered what was wrong with the Buckeye defensive front. A week later, nothing was wrong, thanks to a stalwart outing that shut down Michigan. BuckeyeSports.com caught up with a few OSU defenders to find out what changed in that seven-day span.

As far as turnarounds go, this one was pretty dramatic. A week after allowing 260 rushing yards to Illinois Nov. 10 – the worst performance in that category during head coach Jim Tressel's tenure – the Ohio State defense surrendered just 15 yards on 24 carries against archrival Michigan on the 17th. So what the heck happened over that week's time that changed the fortunes of OSU's stop troops...
