Todd Boeckman looks up at the scoreboard during his first game as Ohio State's starting quarterback.

Boeckman, background, got plenty of protection from offensive lineman like right guard Ben Person (63).

Lawrence Wilson (87) was one of many defenders to put pressure on YSU quarterback Tom Zetts (24).

Unfortunately, Wilson left the game with a broken right leg.

Linebacker James Laurinaitis and defensive end Vernon Gholston put YSU's Jabari Scott (34) in a tough situation.

Chris "Beanie" Wells ran 16 times for 46 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Freshman Brandon Saine also made his OSU debut, rnning for 42 yards on 10 carries and a score.

The Ohio Stadium crowd of 105,038 were treated to four Script Ohios at halftime on Alumni Band Day.

Backup quarterback Rob Schoenhoft earned some playing time and completed three of his six pass attempts.

Fifth-year senior Trever Robinson scored a fourth-quarter touchdown.

The Buckeyes ended the afternoon with a rendition of Carmen Ohio.
