Credit Cincinnati head coach Mark Dantonio and his staff for making Ohio State look a bit flat at the outset of the game but once OSU figured out the Bearcats the 37-7 rout was on. Antonio Pittman, who had 155 yards on the ground in the game, scored on a 48-yard run and Ted Ginn had two receiving touchdowns from Troy Smith to pace the slow-starting Buckeye offense against their intrastate rival.
