Taurian Washington

Nasty Michigan weather, including a cold rain and lightning, delayed the start of the game for nearly an hour but sunshine eventually prevailed at the start of the game. St. Mary's, behind the likes of Justin Siller, Dionte Allen and -future Ohio State Buckeye - Taurian Washington all contributed to the 28-0 victory. Washington, specifically, had two long catches in the game of 42 and 29 yards.

Blair Hollis - Sr. Running Back/Linebacker

Opening kickoff

Chris Mitchell - Sr. Running Back

Mitchell scores on this run from 29 yards out to give St. Mary's a 7-0 lead.

Jason Semmes makes this tackle on the ensuing kickoff. Semmes, a 6-3 and 210 pound defensive end, is a junior Eaglet to keep an eye on.

Siller had an interception on this play that he nearly returned for a touchdown.

Washington gets the call on an end around...

...and takes it down to the one.

Hollis pounded it in from there to make it 13-0 after the missed PAT.

Allen was a lock-down corner on defense...

...and got touches on offense as well as a wide receiver.

Mitchell was the main man for St. Mary's on the ground.

Washington catches a 42-yard pass on this particular start to a play.

And then later he catches this slant ...

...and runs with it for a 29-yard gain.

Then Siller hits Allen on this play...

...who goes up and over for the touchdown to make it 21-0 after the two-point conversion.

Mitchell is off again on another long-gainer.

Hollis went in untouched on the last score of the day to make the final 28-0.

All-in-all it was a good day for Siller, who has verbally committed to Purdue,... was a good day for Allen, who has verbally committed to Florida State,...

And it was a good day for Taurian Washington who has, of course, verbally committed to Ohio State.
