It was the home-opener for Brandon Saine and the Piqua Indians who were coming off of a tough 48-41 loss to Grove City on the road in the season-opener. Behind the running of Saine, Piqua got out to a quick 14-0 lead and never looked back. Here's how some of Saine's first home game at beautiful Alexander Stadium in his senior year looked in pictures.

...to easily score from 3 yards out and give the Indians a quick 14-0 lead.

This 45-yard run down to the five by Dominique Cokes to the 5 set up Xenia's only score of the game to cut the lead to 14-7 at the time.

With a 28-7 lead at halftime, Saine received his nomination to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

He also received a track plaque which recognized his 10.38-second state record 100-meter dash time and an award from Gatorade for being Ohio's male track athlete of the year last track season.

In the third period, Saine stretched the lead for Piqua to 35-7 on this 74-yard run.

Justin Hemm had 138 yards and 2 TDs on 11 carries.

After rushing for 238 yards and 5 TDs in the opener against Hamilton, Jackson was held to 52 yards on 21 carries against Piqua

In all, the Dayton Daily News had Saine down for 249 yards on 22 carries...and 3 TDs.
