Vincent Browne of Lisbon (Oh.) David Anderson is continuing to see his stock
rise. He has performed well during the spring and reportedly has offers from
Colorado, Ohio, Indiana, Northwestern, and Akron.
Two other schools have been showing plenty of interest as well.
"We are getting a lot of attention from Syracuse and Pitt," Vince's father Ed
said. "We are looking to get up there and take a look around."
Browne plans on evaluating his decision based on what happens on camps this
summer.
"Vince will camp at Ohio State then we go to Penn State," Ed Browne said. "We
will take a look at the landscape at that point."
Browne (6-5, 245) can play several positions on the field but linebacker
seems to be his future destination.
"We are now hearing more about Vince getting a look first as a defensive
player," Ed Browne said. "One school even said something about him as a Mike but
most are saying defensive line."
Currently, Browne is running sprints in track and is working hard in the
weightroom.
"Vincent is working harder than ever," Ed Browne said. "He is very focused on
the future. He has a lot of past accolades but does not seem to care much about
what he has done. He is much more interested in what he going to do in the
future.
"He is working very hard in the weightroom. He is benching 330 lbs which is
not bad for someone with such long arms. He is power cleaning 330 and squatting
450. The only reason he is not squatting more is because the coach doesn't want
him to."
