Only Prom Keeps Saine From Dayton Trifecta

In one of the best track and field invitational's in the state, the 32nd Annual Don Mitchell Roosevelt Memorial, Brandon Saine displayed the kind of speed that helped him land a football scholarship to The Ohio State University. Just days prior to Saine winning the 100 meter race at Dayton's Welcome Stadium, he surprised almost everyone when word spread of his commitment to OSU. Saine talked about the 100 meters and his commitment to OSU after winning the only race he ran in that day.

The 100 meter final at the 32nd Annual Don Mitchell Roosevelt Memorial was certainly the race that many people in the stands at Dayton's Welcome Stadium were waiting to see last Saturday. A much-anticipated match up between Brandon Saine, the state's defending champion in the 100, and his toughest challenger to date, Ray Small, certainly didn't disappoint those who were there to see it go down...
