The excitement in Bryant Browning’s voice was obvious as he shared the good news.
"I'm coming. It's official," said the big offensive lineman from Glenville High School. "It's the best fit for me and it's the right time to make if official."
Browning was on his “in-home” visit with Jim Tressel, Jim Bollman and Luke Fickell at Glenville High School at the time he issued his verbal commitment to continue his football career at The Ohio State University.
“I’ve been to a lot of great places and met a lot of great people throughout the recruiting process,” Browning said, “but when it came down to it, Ohio State was the best place for me to spend the next four or five years of my life. So I decided to stay home and become a Buckeye.”
Browning becomes the second offensive lineman in the 2006 recruiting class for Ohio State and the 16th overall commitment in the class to date.
“I’m very excited to be a Buckeye,” he said. “I’ve always wanted to play for Ohio State and now I have the opportunity in front of me. It feels really great.”
