Bounce Back -- Linebacker Marcus Freeman sat out the 2005 season
after suffering an injury in the opening game. But he will be needed
next season as the Buckeyes lose all three starting linebackers. We
catch up with Freeman in this issue.
Datish, Downing Emerge - This year's offensive line were the
unsung heroes of the Buckeye offense. A big reason why the line grew
into a strong unit was the continued emergence of juniors Doug Datish
and T.J. Downing. In this issue, we talk about the importance of these
two players to the offensive line.
Roses Are Scarlet
- If you watched the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, you got a good look at
future OSU defensive end Robert Rose. Rose was one of the most
impressive players in the game, and he now comes to OSU with high
expectations. Gary Housteau caught up with Rose for a

- OSU hoops commitment David Lighty spent the offseason rehabbing a
torn ACL. Now, Lighty is back in full force for his senior season. Kyle
