Recruiting is underway, and signing day will be here before you know it. Each
year, Bucknuts produces a special recruiting-themed issue in which we take a
detailed look at the year's football recruiting class and help you get to know
the newest Buckeyes better.
The recruiting issue, which usually arrives in March, is one of the more
popular issues of the year. It also comes with Scout.com's special recruiting
guide, which wraps up the recruiting season across the country.
If you order now, you will receive that issue as well as the February issue of
Bucknuts the Magazine, which will be arriving in January. Stories planned for
the next issue include...
(story
lineup is tentative and subject to change):

Jim Tressel |
Season in Review: The
Bucknuts staff gathers together to take one last look back at the 2005
season. Read their opinions on pretty much everything, including who
OSU's top players were, the surprises and disappointments, and their
thoughts on next year. Also, Steve Helwagen will bring you a special
list of the top moments of the 2005 season. |

A.J. Hawk |
A.J. Hawk: It
didn't end with quite the volume of award hardware as many expected, but
A.J. Hawk put an end to an outstanding OSU career with a stellar senior
year. We talk about Hawk's accolades as well as the rest of the team
awards in this issue. |

Malcolm Jenkins |
Player Features:
Jenkins, Laurinaitis, Huston, Trapasso: Each issue contains articles
on Ohio State football players, and this month is no exception as we
focus freshmen Malcolm Jenkins and James Laurinaitis, both of whom made
solid impacts in their first season, and specialists Josh Huston and A.J.
Trapasso. |

Chris Wells |
Wells Is The Man In 2006 Class - Usually this time of the
year, fans are wondering who the highest ranked recruit to commit to
Ohio State will be. This year, it doesn't matter who commits from this
point on as the Buckeyes already have the No. 1 prospect in the entire
country, as rated by Scout.com. Running back Chris Wells of Akron
Garfield will lead the way in this class, and we'll be looking back on
his season and career this month.
|

Grant Schwartz |
Schwartz Follows In Dad's Footsteps - Like his father Brian,
California defensive back Grant Schwartz will be playing his college
football at Ohio State. Grant Schwartz saw the Buckeyes play Michigan in
the Fiesta Bowl-clinching game in 2002, and now it won't be long until
he will have a chance to go up against the Wolverines in the Horseshoe.
Learn more about Grant in this issue.

Sylvester Mayes |
Hoops
Features - We never leave basketball out of the discussion in
Bucknuts the Magazine, and in this issue, we have articles on three
players. Our men's basketball feature is on JUCO transfer Sylvester
Mayes, while we also take a look at women's standout Brandie Hoskins and
Indianapolis prep star Walter Offutt, who has committed to Ohio State
despite being just a sophomore.
