The Ohio State basketball recruiting target list added a big name recently as five-star junior power forward Herb Pope (6-8 1/2, 220) of Alquippa, Pa. announced that he was backing out of a verbal commitment to Pittsburgh and re-opening his recruitment. Kyle Lamb recently caught up with Pope and taped an audio interview, in which Pope discusses his decision to open up his recruitment, what schools he is considering, and much more.

Ohio State would love to land five-star power forward Herb Pope -- but so would just about every other school in the country. In this special audio interview with Kyle Lamb, Pope discusses his decision to open his recruitment, what he thinks of Ohio State, and what his list of teams will be. He also has some harsh words about the coaching situation at Cincinnati.
