Ohio State landed a commitment from defensive back Anderson Russell of
Atlanta, Georgia today. The Marist High School product talked about his visit.
"It went beautifully," Russell said. "I committed. I'm going
to be a Buckeye."
Russell is sure of his choice and will not take any more trips.
"No more visits," Russell said. "I'm done with it. I can't
wait to get up there and start working out with the other guys."
Russell is moving a long way from home, but it does not seem to be a problem.
"I talked to my parents," he said. "They're both fine with it.
They just asked me to be sure that's what I wanted to do, and I am."
Russell was hosted by two future defensive backfield teammates.
"Brandon Mitchell and Nate Salley," he said. "They were the
best."
Russell is the 13th commitment to Ohio State's 2005 recruiting class. Ohio State and Duke were his final two choices.
