Tyrell Sutton was honored in front of the home crowd before his final regular-season home game against Warren Harding and then he went out and rushed for 406 yards in a 49-35 defeat to the Raiders. Gary Housteau was at Dowed Field and tells his story of the game in pictures.

Mario Manningham, a Michigan verbal, is obviously the main threat that opponents of the Warren G. Harding Raiders have to deal with. Manningham just recently has been running plays at tailback with tremendous success.

But sophomore Danny Herron is emerging as a star of the future for the Raiders. Danny's brother David Herron is a starting LB for the Michigan State Spartans.

Harding Raider captains are (L to R) Rocco Cironi, Manningham, Jon Richardson and Dante Campbell.

Junior quarterback Paul McGough is an emerging star for Hoban.

Former Cleveland Brown Leroy Kelly was on hand to honor Sutton. He presented Sutton with an autographed football to honor the record-setter.

Sutton's family was on hand for the celebration, including his brother Tony, to Tyrell's right, as Hoban head coach Ralph Orsini presented him with a trophy for being the state's all-time career rushing leader.

Manningham reached paydirt three times, twice through the air and once on the ground.

Herron brings Sutton down on this particular play.

Herron rushed for 279 yards and scored four times in the game.

In addition to his 406 yards on 34 carries Sutton scored four TDs.

Cironi, a three-year starter at left tackle for the Raiders, could commit to the Spartans any time soon.

Manningham at Michigan and Sutton at Northwestern are two players that Ohio State will being seeing a lot of over the next few years. Manning is arguably the top skilled athlete in Ohio this year.

But when you're looking for the state's top overall player this season, look no farther than this young man!
