Keys Looking To Get His Name Out There
Running back Greg Keys of Bellevue High School can be considered as one of those fringe players who was at the Nike camp at Ohio State last month trying to get his name out there. Formerly of Sandusky Perkins High School, Keys is not always mentioned among the top running backs in the state for this season but he definitely has a tremendous amount of upside to him. "I felt like I did pretty good (at the Nike camp). I wish my 40 time was a little better down there," said Keys who ran a 4.63 second 40-yard dash. "But I learned a lot of stuff and I met some people and I saw a lot of good athletes down there. It was a good experience." Keys measured 6-feet even and weighed in at 199 ½ pounds at the camp. He repped 185 pounds 18 times on the bench press, his shuttle time was 4.43 and his vertical jump was 29 ½. "Overall, I think the numbers are a pretty good reflection of me," he said.
