WR/ATH Brian Hartline of Canton GlenOak is ready to have a busy month. He
already went to check out Notre Dame. Hartline said he had a five-hour drive so
he couldn't stay for long, but he did get to talk to head coach Tyrone
Willingham.
"It went pretty good," he said. "Academics were stressed a lot."
The area's best programs are planning on having someone in to see him over
the next few weeks.
"Michigan State's coming in on Wednesday," he said. "Notre Dame says they are coming in
but we haven't set a date.
"Michigan is talking about maybe coming in, and it looks like Penn State's
going to set something up too."
Hartline still is very high on Ohio State, and he recently got a bit of a
surprise as to where they think he projects in college.
"I've been coming down to practices at Ohio State," he said. "It seems like they might
like me at safety.
"I see myself as a receiver, but I would be willing to play safety. That's not
a problem."
Recently, he was able to come to OSU for Nike Camp, but he seems to be
looking forward more to coming back to OSU in June for camp.
"I really got a lot out of the Nike Camp. I competed down there,"
he said. "I'm really
looking forward to camp. I'm going to put on a show."
