Buckeyes In The NFL: Week 14

Keep tabs on the Buckeyes in the pro ranks in this update. Malcolm Jenkins, Brian Hartline and Cameron Heyward were among those who donned the Scarlet and Gray who had solid performances in Week 14.

Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore beat Minnesota, 29-26. Linebacker John Simon did not start but played in six percent of defensive snaps and 24 percent of special teams snaps. He did not record a tackle.

Carolina Panthers

Carolina lost to New Orleans, 31-13. Wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. did not start but played in 81 percent of offensive snaps and 36 percent of special teams snaps. He was targeted five times and caught two passes for 5 yards. He also returned one punt for 32 yards and two kickoffs for 73 yards.

Tight end Ben Hartsock started and played in 21 percent of offensive snaps and 36 percent of defensive snaps. He did not record a catch.

Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati beat Indianapolis, 42-28. Kicker Mike Nugent started and played in 37 percent of special teams snaps. He made all six PAT attempts and did not attempt a field goal. None of his seven kickoffs went for a touchback.

Wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher was inactive.

Cleveland Browns

Cleveland lost to New England, 27-26. Offensive lineman Reid Fragel was inactive.

Denver Broncos

Denver beat Tennessee, 51-28. Offensive lineman Justin Boren is on injured reserve.

Detroit Lions

Detroit lost to Philadelphia, 34-20. Offensive lineman Rob Sims started and played in 89 percent of offensive snaps. He was flagged once for holding. Detroit rushed 33 times for 80 yards and one touchdown and gave up no sacks.

Green Bay Packers

Green Bay beat Atlanta, 22-21. Linebacker A.J. Hawk started and played in 98 percent of defensive snaps and four percent of special teams snaps. He made four tackles and also broke up a pass.

Defensive lineman Ryan Pickett started and played in 42 percent of defensive snaps. He made two tackles.

Tight end Jake Stoneburner did not started but played in three percent of offensive snaps. He did not record a catch.

Houston Texans

Houston lost to Jacksonville, 27-20. Wide receiver DeVier Posey did not start but played in 11 percent of offensive snaps. He was targeted once and caught one pass for 9 yards.

Indianapolis Colts

Indianapolis lost to Cincinnati, 42-28. Running back Dan "Boom" Herron is on injured reserve.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville beat Houston, 27-20. Offensive lineman Michael Brewster did not start but played in 15 percent of special teams snaps.

Miami Dolphins

Miami beat Pittsburgh, 34-28. Wide receiver Brian Hartline started and played in 97 percent of offensive snaps. He was targeted eight times and caught five passes for 51 yards and a touchdown.

Linebacker Austin Spitler did not start but played in 50 percent of special teams snaps. He made one tackle.

New England Patriots

New England beat Cleveland, 27-26. Safety Nate Ebner did not start but played in 87 percent of special teams snaps. He made one tackle.

New Orleans Saints

New Orleans beat Carolina, 31-13. Safety Malcolm Jenkins started and played in 100 percent of defensive snaps and 43 percent of special teams snaps. He made nine tackles, including one tackle for loss.

Defensive lineman Will Smith is on injured reserve.

New York Giants

The New York Giants lost to San Diego, 37-14. Offensive lineman Jim Cordle is on injured reserve.

Defensive lineman Johnathan Hankins did not start but played in 26 percent of defensive snaps. He made two tackles.

New York Jets

The New York Jets beat Oakland, 37-27. Wide receiver Santonio Holmes started and played in 72 percent of offensive snaps. He was targeted five times and caught three passes for 55 yards.

Offensive lineman Nick Mangold started and played in 100 percent of offensive snaps. The Jets rushed 32 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns and allowed one sack for 10 yards.

Oakland Raiders

Oakland lost to the New York Jets, 37-27. Quarterback Terrelle Pryor did not start but played in 20 percent of offensive snaps. He completed 2 of 5 passes for 20 yards and also rushed three times for 4 yards.

Cornerback Chimdi Chekwa did not start but played in 59 percent of special teams snaps. He made one tackle.

Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia beat Detroit, 34-20. Safety Kurt Coleman played in 87 percent of special teams snaps and made one tackle.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh lost to Miami, 34-28. Offensive lineman Mike Adams started at left tackle and played in 100 percent of offensive snaps. The Steelers rushed 21 times for 84 yards and allowed three sacks for 21 yards.

Safety Will Allen started and played in 73 percent of defensive snaps and 44 percent of special teams snaps. He made four tackles.

Defensive lineman Cameron Heyward started and played in 95 percent of defensive snaps and 44 percent of special teams snaps. He made 10 tackles, including one sack for 8 yards.

St. Louis Rams

St. Louis lost to Arizona, 30-10. Linebacker James Laurinaitis played in 100 percent of defensive snaps and 27 percent of special teams snaps. He made four tackles and broke up one pass. Long snapper Jake McQuaide played in 27 percent of special teams snaps.

San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco beat Seattle, 19-17. Offensive lineman Alex Boone started and played in 100 percent of offensive snaps and 18 percent of special teams snaps. The 49ers rushed 33 times for 163 yards and allowed two sacks for 20 yards. Boone was flagged twice, once for a false start and then another for illegal use of hands.

Safety Donte Whitner started and played in 100 percent of defensive snaps. He made four tackles and broke up one pass. He was flagged 15 yards for taunting.

Washington Redskins

Washington lost to Kansas City, 45-10. Defensive lineman Doug Worthington is on injured reserve.
