1963 – Ohio State 14, Michigan 10: The Buckeyes and Wolverines met a week later than originally scheduled because of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on Nov. 22 – a day before the teams were to play in Ann Arbor. Ohio State (5-3-1, 4-1-1 Big Ten) closed it season on a high note by beating the Wolverines. Don Unverferth threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Paul Warfield in the first half and rushed for a second-half score of 5 yards to give the Buckeyes the victory.
1918 – Michigan 14, Ohio State 0: Ohio State lost its third straight to complete the season 3-3 (0-3 Big Ten). It was the first game between the bitter rivals in 10 years. The rivalry was renewed when the Wolverines rejoined the Big Ten on Nov. 20, 1917. The Buckeyes and Wolverines have played every year since.
1911 – Ohio State 11, Cincinnati 6: The Buckeyes hit the road for their annual Thanksgiving Day game and beat host Cincinnati. Future OSU coach Sam Willaman intercepted a pass for a touchdown and rushed for a score for Ohio State (5-3-2).
1905 – Indiana 11, Ohio State 0: Ohio State ended the year 8-2-2 with a home loss to the visiting Hoosiers, snapping a two-game winning streak.
1899 – Ohio State 5, Kenyon 0: An estimated 6,000 people watched the host Buckeyes finish the season 9-0-1 with a win over the visiting Lords. Head coach John Eckstorm was given a two-year contract extension following the season.
1893 – Kenyon 10, Ohio State 8: The Buckeyes closed the season with a second game against in-state foe Kenyon and for the second time fell to the Lords – this time on Thanksgiving Day in Columbus. Ohio State (4-5) led 4-0 at halftime before Kenyon rallied.
