Johnson Decommits From OSU Class

Ohio State's 2014 recruiting class dropped by one Monday night when three-star wideout Lonnie Johnson said he would be looking elsewhere

Three-star prospect Lonnie Johnson posted on Twitter on Monday evening that he is decommitting from Ohio State and will look elsewhere in his recruitment.

Scout's Derek Young reported Nov. 6 that Johnson would be looking at other schools and that the Gary (Ind.) West Side prospect would be visiting Western Michigan this weekend.

Johnson is rated the No. 72 receiver in the 2014 class according to Scout.

Ohio State also has commitments from four-star wideouts Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel and Malik Hooker. Four-star wideout Malik Hooker is also committed but projects to the defensive side of the ball at OSU.

The Buckeyes are also targeting recruits like Johnnie Dixon and Trevion Thompson, and OSU hosted Josh Malone for the Penn State game.
