ATHENS - Georgia reached into the 300 has grabbed a commitment at Dawg Night.

Kendall Gant, a four-star safety from Lake Gibson High School in Lakeland, FL, picked the Bulldogs during a weather delay at Dawg Night 2013.

Gant had been competing in the event, but stopped working out after the commitment and weather delay. He announced his commitment on Twitter wearing a red #7 Georgia jersey.

Gant picked Georgia over a slew of schools including Alabama, Florida State and Florida.
