Many fans wondered what Ohio State would do to add a quarterback to its 2014 class, and the answer came Friday night when three-star Georgia QB Stephen Collier received an offer and pledged to the Buckeyes.

Ohio State has landed their 12th commit of the class. Stephen Collier made the call tonight to join the Buckeyes upon receiving his offer. He is the second commit in as many days for Urban Meyer and his staff.

Collier is from Leesburg, Ga., and rated as a three-star prospect. He put himself on the Buckeyes’ radar after Ohio State offensive coordinator Tom Herman saw him throw at his high school during the evaluation period. Collier then made the trip to Columbus to compete at Ohio State’s one-day camp on June 9 and was given full attention by the staff.

It has now culminated in him being offered and joining the 2014 Buckeyes’ recruiting class.

Stay tuned to for more from Collier.
