It's National Signing Day in America, and recruits are faxing their letters of intent to their schools of choice across the country. Who is in the fold at Ohio State for the class of 2013?

Donovan Munger is another talented defensive lineman that Urban Meyer has added into the fold at Ohio State, and the Shaker Heights product will start out at defensive tackle for the Buckeyes.

Munger, 6-foot-3, 295-pounds, also is versatile enough that he could play offensive guard if needed.

BREAKDOWN: A defensive tackle who is quick off the ball, Munger generates a lot of penetration by beating his man off the line. He recognizes the play early and has excellent awareness on the field, a weapon against options and screen passes. Will play stronger against blocks with technique and experience, best weapon now is his quickness rather than strength and power. A high motor player on offense and defense - Scott Kennedy

WHAT ARE THE INTANGIBLES: Munger certainly has the respect of Shaker Heights head coach Jarvis Gibson, who raves about his star. He has leadership qualities, even though Munger is more the strong, silent type, and not a yeller or screamer at all. Whether at Shaker Heights, or working out at Raw Talent Sports, Munger has been one who always takes the time to help the younger players, and exhibits zero ego going about his business. If he takes to the direction of Urban Meyer, Mickey Marotti and Mike Vrabel, then Ohio State might have landed themselves one heck of a football player in Donovan Munger. - Bill Greene

Munger On Choosing Ohio State: "The decision to commit to Ohio State came to me when I was on the visit," Munger stated. "I felt that getting the best education, and playing for the best coaches, was the best choice I could make. I feel this coaching staff is going to benefit me way beyond just helping me be a good football player."

"I think Ohio State will help me grow as a young man, so this is a great decision for me and my family," he added. "With the possibility of Johnathan Hankins leaving, there might be a pretty good shot of coming in and competing for playing time."

"Another very important factor was that my mom was so impressed with the players and the coaching staff," Munger continued. "She thought I really fit in well with the Ohio State program, and that meant a lot to me. I have to say that Coach (Mike) Vrabel played a big part in my decision, especially after we sat and talked about his scheme and how he coaches his defensive linemen."
