Top '14 RB has a leader

One of the top running backs in the 2014 class has been adding new offers at a steady pace in recent weeks and for the first time, he has announced he has a leader.

"I went back over to Georgia on Sunday and they are my leader now," Nick Chubb told Scout on Sunday. "I feel very comfortable there and I am just getting that feeling like I have when I am home when I am there."

This was Chubb's second trip to Athens in the last three weeks and this visit was the same, but different as the first one.

"I got to see a little more of the campus this time. Coach [Mike] Bobo, Coach [Bryan] McClendon, and Coach [Will] Friend took me around and showed me the entire campus. I had not see everything before, so that was a little different.

"I saw the basketball game last time I was there and this time I saw the gymnastics team. I spent a lot of time with Coach Bobo and he really wants me bad. He said a lot of the same things that Coach McClendon said last time I was there and it was cool. Coach Bobo told me he would do what it took to get me to Georgia."

If UGA wants to sign the 5-foot-11, 208 pound running back out of Cedartown, Ga., then they will have to fight off numerous schools across the country.

Arkansas, Auburn, and Notre Dame all offered him last week an he now 11 scholarship offers.

"It feels great to be getting these offers," the future Scout300 running back said. "I wasn't expecting all of this and I have been seeing a lot of coaches at the school and getting a lot of offers. It has been pretty exciting."

Ohio State has already offered Chubb and he plans to visit them next weekend.

Chubb ran for 2,717 yards and scored 39 touchdowns in 2012.
